When is it?

The Spirit of the Land Festival is always the 2nd weekend in October every year.

What time does it start?

Saturday – 9am – 8.30pm
Sunday – 9am – 2pm

Is there a cost?

Admission fee for the 2024 Festival is a one off $10, which allow entry to Sculpture Exhibition, Fine Arts and Photography Exhibition, Open Gardens and Farm Tours.
Admission to the Greens Gunyah Museum including the Doris Golder Gallery is additional.

Where can I Park?

There is no designated parking area for the festival. Parking is available throughout the streets of Lockhart. Large vehicles including Caravans, RVs, Trailers etc. is available in Urana Street.

- Wal Alexander Park – Green Street
- CWA Park – Green Street (Lockhart Water Tower Mural)
- Memorial Hall (Fine Arts/Photography Exhibition) – Green Street (Accessible)
- Walter Day Park - Urana Street (Accessible)
- Greens Gunyah Museum – Green Street (Accessible)
- Portaloos at various locations around the festival Site

When do the fireworks start and where is the best location?

Fireworks start at 8pm, with the best location at Hodgson Park (westside of the lagoon)

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, you can, but must be restrained and stay a distance away from any food outlets.
